I was born and raised in Michigan. I have one sister and two brothers. As a kid I loved sports, especially basketball, softball and volleyball. In the winter I also loved to go sledding and play in the snow. I went to college at Western Michigan University, which is where I got my degree to be a teacher. I went on to earn my master’s degree from the University of West Georgia. Teaching is so much fun because I get to see kids becoming amazing mathematicians, scientists, readers, writers and thinkers! I live in Roswell with my husband and our two kids. Colin is in 8th grade and Alice is in 6th. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, playing with my dogs (Gracie and Max), playing tennis, going camping, watching movies, listening to music and reading good books. I look forward to learning more about you and hearing all of your wonderful stories. Get ready for a fun and educational year together!
